Oneohtrix Point Never
R Plus Seven

Having recently moved labels and done the soundtrack to Sofia Coppola’s latest film, The Blind Ring  production whiz Oneohtrix Point Never has announced a new album.

The record itself is a major departure from his previous work.  His experimental inclinations lurk behind the scenes – in the concepts and procedures he adopted to create the tracks – while the music itself comes as close as Lopatin has ever gotten to anything resembling traditional song structure.

The Brooklyn-based producer’s newest release aims to be is disruptive and hypnotic in equal measure. The fun of it lies in trusting the music-maker as he guides you past and often through its succession of walls and mirrors.

R Plus 7 will be available September 27th  through Warp Records
