Rob Thomas has just made his upcoming tour of Australia all the more exciting, adding an extra date to his November trek, and naming the special guests who will be joining him along the way.

Back in April, music fans received the news that none other than Rob Thomas would be making his return to Australia this year.

Touring in support of his fourth solo album – Chip Tooth Smile – the Matchbox Twenty frontman announced that he would be hitting up Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth with headline gigs, and performances in the Yarra Valley, Hunter Valley, and Mount Cotton as part of A Day On The Green festivities.

Now, this tour has just gotten a whole lot bigger, with an extra show and special guests announced for the national trek.

Slotting in near the start of the tour, Rob Thomas has today revealed he will be bringing his exemplary live show to South Australia, performing at Leconfield Wines in McLaren Vale for A Day On The Green.

However, it doesn’t end there though, with some pretty huge names being added in the support slot for these shows.

With Pete Murray joining all the A Day On The Green performances, punters will also get a chance to see Russell Morris in SA, NSW, and QLD, while Emily Wurramara joins the VIC and SA shows.

Meanwhile, Emily Wurramara is set to feature on the bill for Rob Thomas’ Canberra headline date, Daryl Braithwaite will join the Sydney and Melbourne shows, and Pete Murray & Russell Morris will make an appearance at the Perth date

Tickets for the McLaren Vale performance go on sale from 10am, Monday, July 22nd, with tickets to all other performances on sale now.

Be sure to get in early to see one of the most genius hit writers on the scene making his long-awaited Australian return with a series of stunning performances.
