Everyone’s favourite rap power duo, Run the Jewels, have returned with a brand new track called ‘The Yankee and the Brave’. The track is the first-ever teaser of what is to come from the group’s forthcoming album RTJ4.

Run the Jewels have shared a new song called ‘The Yankee and the Brave’—a taste of their forthcoming album RTJ4. Take a listen below. The brand new track bursts in with little to no warning and sets the scene for what is to come from raps most energetic team.

The duo were slated to hit the road with Rage Against the Machine on the band’s spring reunion tour, but some of those dates have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. In early March, they appeared on Rick Rubin’s Broken Record podcast. They recorded Run the Jewels 4 at Rubin’s famed Los Angeles studio Shangri-La as well as New York’s Electric Lady.

Impressing the masses with ferocious bombast, Run the Jewels released their last album Run the Jewels 3 at the end of 2016, which received critical acclaim for taking the sound of the duo and amping it up to stadium-levels of hype. In 2019, the pair teams up with Danny Brown on his track ‘3 Tearz’ produced by JPEGMAFIA, for Brown’s incredible album uknowhatimsayin¿

Now, finally, the duo are back in action to release what may be their most volatile and important album yet. With the election in America coming up, and the group never shying away from politics, we can expect from unbelievable lyricism to come our way.

Killer Mike and El-P also helped the U.S. Snowboarding Team announce Volcom as the team’s apparel partner through the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
