Earlier this week a series of School of Rock reunions took place during Tenacious D‘s Chicago Shows. It’s been fifteen years since Jack Played the unforgettable Dewey Finn in the Richard Linklater classic.

Kevin Clark aka Freddy aka Spazzy McGee caught wind that Tenacious D were in town and got in touch with Black. Black hooked Clark up with backstage tickets and the pair got a photo together. Clark, who is now a full time drummer, gave Black merch from his current Dreadwolf. Mr. Finn’s influence.

This wasn’t the only School of Rock reunion that went down. Rebecca Brown, who played bassist in the fourth-grade band popped into Tenacious D’s Wednesday night show. Brown hasn’t given up the dream either and is still pursuing music. Check out the adorable photo they posted on Instagram.

A couple of years ago, Jack Black got the whole crew back together to perform a cover of ‘Long Way To The Top’ celebrate the 10th anniversary of School of Rock. Check out the footage below.
