One of the most exciting groups to have ever emerged from New Zealand, SIX60, have announced plans to incite the same type of pandemonium across the ditch, with a run of headline Australian dates kicking off in December.

The group will be making the trip over off the back of their current, good-vibes single The Greatest; a precursor to a yet-to-be titled forthcoming album expected to drop later in the year. Our guess is the December dates put Australia in good real estate to experience the next instalment in a live setting.

Speaking of their shiny new jam, the band explained, “We initially drew inspiration for The Greatest upon seeing that iconic photo of Mohammed Ali with The Beatles, but it’s now taken on a life of its own. It’s important to us that we keep striving to be better, never stop aiming higher. We, as a nation always punch above our weight in so many ways, because of that self-belief and drive. We wanted to make a song that reflects that.”

Throughout their tenure, SIX60 have demonstrated their pulling power time and time again. To date, they’ve clocked a decent 15 x platinum single sales and over 1 million singles sold. On top of their collective mantle sits a total of five NZ Music Awards and have enjoyed a mental 230 weeks in the NZ Top 40 Charts.

Clearly, they aren’t done yet: Just earlier in the year, SIX60 blew minds by moving all 50,000 tickets to NZ’s Western Springs Stadium in a record breaking time.

So, it’s safe to say you won’t want to muck around with securing your tickets to one of the below Aus dates.
