This is going to be crazy and someone is going to die. Slipknot AND Behemoth?

After making the first No. 1 Metal album in the U.K. since 2015, legendary artists Slipknot, who are celebrating the release of their brand new album We Are Not Your Kind, have announced an absolutely behemoth tour around Europe with none other than… you guessed it, Behemoth.

Slipknot’s brand new 2019 output came out on August 9th, and already has seen some massive global success on the charts. Our masks go off to them. And now they’ve decided to tour the very album that knocked Ed Sheeran off the top of the charts, We Are Not Your Kind,  with a 2020 return to Europe. This time though, they’ll be bringing along Behemoth.

The tour begins on January 14th in Dublin, Ireland and will hit over 20 cities before wrapping up on February 24th in Helsinki, Finland. For fans in Europe, it’s a partial taste of the Knotfest Roadshow that’s currently sweeping through North America, which features Behemoth as well as Volbeat and Gojira.

Looks like if you want to catch the pair on their run through the hills and mountains of Europe, you’ll need to get your hands on some plane tickets as soon as possible.

We Are Not Your Kind was Slipknot’s first No.1 album in the U.K. since their highly praised sophomore album Iowa, which was released many moons ago in 2001. That’s 18 entire years since Slipknot has seen any kind of U.K. chart-topping, and now they have finally returned. Allegedly of the 31,000 reported U.K. sales, 25,000 of those were physical while the rest were from downloads and streams. The album has already seen widespread critical acclaim, and you will not want to miss it live for even a second.

While we cry over the sheer amount of money needed to attend this tour, let’s listen to an absolute banger.
