Soundwave 2016 is scheduled to kick off next month with the likes of Disturbed, The Prodigy, Deftones, and NOFX all heading down under for Australia’s premier hard rock and heavy metal event.
But with only six weeks left it looks like there could be some problems with one of their headliners.
UK rockers Bring Me The Horizon, who are billed second to only Disturbed, have sent an alarming tweet out to fans suggesting that although they would like be involved with the festival, they haven’t actually been confirmed yet.
To anyone hoping to see us @soundwavefest we are awaiting some requested info & hope to 100% confirm our involvement this week. Hang tight.

Not sure what is happening with BMTH. Trying to find out now.

The news comes after some last minute addition to the bill on Friday, with Relient K, Walls Of Jericho and Darkc3ll all joining the 2016 lineup.
Having experimented with a two-day format for their last instalment, Soundwave Festival 2016 has downsized significantly following some financial problems which saw the original Soundwave company enter administration owing creditors millions.
2016 will see the festival return to the single-day format, hitting up venues up the east coast in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
Tickets for Soundwave 2016 are available now via the official Soundwave website. Check below for all dates and ticketing details, as well as the full lineup. Make sure you stay tuned to Tone Deaf for more Soundwave 2016 news.
