If you were hoping to wait a little bit before buying your tickets to this years Splendour In The Grass festival, you may have to seek your nearest scalper.
Within only one hour of sales, Splendour In The Grass completely sold out of all 50,000 tickets to their weekend festival.
Splendour In The Grass is currently in its 20th year of bringing incredible local and international acts together for a weekend of non-stop music, and they really brought it for this anniversary festival.
With such a killer lineup featuring sensational headlining acts like Flume, The Strokes, Tyler The Creator, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Midnight Oil, Glass Animals, and Denzel Curry the weekend is set to be a stellar time.
As anticipation mounted for the tickets to go on sale, many hopeful fans were left with the dreaded words, “SOLD OUT” and “Allocation Exhausted” listed on every ticket option.
That being said, if you were one of the lucky 50,000 who managed to get a ticket this morning, then you’re in for a treat when the festival begins in July.
If you were unlucky and just missed the allocated tickets, or were considering saving up a little money for you and your mates to go, you’re going to have to face the long waitlist.
