On Sunday night, a benefit concert for victims of the Woolsey Fire took place at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium on Sunday night. The event saw the likes of St. Vincent, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beck and Jack Black band together to raise money for the fires that devastated California in November last year.

During the benefit, St. Vincent slowed things down to perform a moving acoustic cover of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Blood Sugar Sex Magik track ‘Breaking The Girl’. As COS notes, St. Vincent prefaced the track by giving a shout-out to Red Hot Chili Peppers’ guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, who helped her learn the track backstage. “I wanna give a very special thank you to Josh Klinghoffer. for fucking bitching guitar playing, but also for correcting my chords just about 20 minutes ago.”

Check out the cover below.
