The original Static-X lineup have announced that they plan to reunite for a tribute album, dedicated to the band’s late frontman, Wayne Static. The record, Project Regeneration, will feature the final recordings of Static. The band have shared that they are gunning for guest features from Disturbed’s David Draiman, Five Finger Death Punch‘s Ivan Moody and more.

Project Regeneration is set for release early 2019. The band are also gearing up to embark on a 20th-anniversary tour for their debut record Wisconsin Death Trip. The shows will see the band perform the “majority” of the iconic record as well as other fan favourites. The band are yet to announce who will be taking on vocal duties. As it stands the current lineup features guitarist Koichi Fukuda, drummer Ken Jay and bassist Tony Campos.
