American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has announced a number of past cast members will be returning for the latest instalment of the hit series, including the one and only Stevie Nicks. She appeared in the show’s third season Coven, playing herself in the tenth episode, “The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks”.
Nicks will appear in American Horror Story: Apocalypse, which is a crossover season between American Horror Story: Murder House, season one, and American Horror Story: Coven, season three.
Mysticism has long been part of Nicks’ work, having woven her own spirituality into her work for much of her career. She was of course then a fitting guest star on the cult-favourite show. During Coven, character Misty Day (played by Lily Rabe) has an infatuation with the rock heroine, whom the character believed was a “White Witch.” Fiona (played by Jessica Lange) calls in a favour, bringing the iconic singer in an attempt to out Day as the next in line for the Supremacy.
