It’s been a busy five years for Caravana Sun. They’ve played more than 500 gigs across four European tours and celebrated the release of two albums. The Sydney four-piece simply don’t know how to take a break.
Now, having teased a brand new single and with a new album just on the horizon, the band are celebrating with a string of tour dates on their home turf. The tour kicks off this April and cruises right on into May.
The band’s new album — along with new single Eye of the Storm, which is set to drop this April — was recorded in Fremantle with Joel Quartermain, best known for his work with the likes of Meg Mac and Eskimo Joe.
“Eye Of The Storm represents the struggle of leading a life away from the person you love. While frustration, anxiety and angst mask your emotions, in the depths of your heart you’ll never let go,” explains vocalist and guitarist Luke Carra.
The Eye Of The Storm National Tour will see fans receiving their first taste of the brand new album, which is set for release in June, before the band jets off to Europe and the UK for their fifth and biggest overseas tour to date.
Ahead of the tour, the guys took some behind the scenes snaps of the guys recording the new LP which you can check out below.
