Tame Impala have shared a remix of 070 Shake’s ‘Guilty Conscious, taken off the artist’s debut record Modus Vivendi.

Kevin Parker and 070 Shake previously worked together in collaboration with Kanye West on his track ‘Violent Crimes,’ which closed his 2018 album Ye.

This is the first Tame Impala remix since Kevin Parker added his midas touch to Miguel’s ‘Waves’ in 2016.

This year, Tame Impala dropped their luscious fourth album The Slow Rush. Kevin Parker also collaborated with The Streets’ on their track ‘Call My Phone Thinking I’m Doing Nothing Better’.

Kevin Parker recently shared an acoustic rendition of The Slow Rush cut ‘On Track’, as well as an 18-minute remix of his song ‘One More Year’ – an extended “balearic house reimagining” of the original track, released via NTS for the radio station’s new Remote Utopias fundraising effort.

Earlier this month, Kevin Parker reflected on the Tame Impala opus Currents in celebration of its 10-year anniversary. The musician cited super-producer Mark Ronson as the core inspiration behind his pivot to pop music.

“Mark’s a big reason why I had the confidence to do what I did with ‘Currents’,” Parker told NME. “He showed me how pop music could have such a craft to it.”
