Tash Sultana has joined the local contingent of artists set to perform for the One World: Together At Home concert series.

The digital concert is organised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and will air at 10am on Sunday, April 19th (AEDT) on Network 10 in Australia. The gig will bring together not only musicians, but also actors and others from the global entertainment business.

Sultana has been added to the series alongside more than 70 other new additions, with some of the biggest names including Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Keys, Pharrell Williams, Usher and more. The lineup has been curated by Lady Gaga.

The singer-songwriter announced on Twitter that she’ll perform live on Instagram as a prelude to the concert this weekend.

I’ll be live on Instagram having a jam at 12pm AEST this Thursday as part of the #TogetherAtHome series,” she posted. “See you there.”

The broadcast will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmell, and Stephen Colbert, with previously announced performers including Eddie Vedder, Billie Joe Armstrong, Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, FINNEAS, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Lizzo, and Stevie Wonder.

“We are grateful to the private sector who have listened to the public’s call for action and come together to support the global response to COVID19. This pandemic is too large for governments to tackle alone,” said Hugh Evans, co-founder and CEO of Global Citizen.

“We are also incredibly grateful for the continued support from the artist community to make One World: Together At Home a moment of global unity,”

“Our hope for the special is that everyone will come away believing that we, as a shared humanity, can emerge from this moment forever grateful for the work of doctors, nurses, teachers, grocery store workers, and all those who are the backbone of our communities.”

Sultana recently released her first new music of the year last week, with new single ‘Pretty Lady’ coming with a socially-distant video.
