Ted Nugent has contracted COVID-19.
According to Rolling Stone, Nugent took to Facebook to announce the news via a Facebook Live. He began, “Everybody told me I should not announce this.” He continued, “I have had flu symptoms for the last ten days. … I thought I was dying, just a clusterfuck.”
And then he dropped the bomb: “I was tested positive today. I got the Chinese shit… I got a stuffed-up head, body aches, my God, what a pain in the ass. I literally could hardly crawl out of bed the last few days, but I did, I crawled… so I was officially tested positive for Covid-19 today.” And if these excepts didn’t already give it away, rest of the video is pretty controversial too.
Throughout the entire pandemic, Nugent has been nothing if not outspoken. We can all recall that one time when he made those anti-vaccine remarks. He said, “We don’t earmark a safety net during a scamming pandemic. It’s not a real pandemic, and that’s not a real vaccine.”
“I’m sorry. I ain’t taking no vaccine. You come at me with a needle, and I will be in fear of my life, and you know what I’ll do if you come at me with a needle. ‘Hi, I’m from the government. This needle is good for you.’ Fuck you!”
Later on he then followed up his words by saying, “Hey soulless tyrannical bureaucrat punkass power abusing assholes come at me with a needle and I will take it out of your hands and shove it up your ass. Any questions? Dial 1-800numbnut and Michael Moore will explain how personal hygiene is overrated. Fuck you and your bullshit vaccine.”
There was also that one time that he hinted at the fact that he thinks the official COVID-19 death count is being inflated in the US.
