This year, beloved nine-piece funk act The Bamboos are commemorating their 20th anniversary as a band. 20 years of encapsulating pure joie de vivre and articulating it through performance. It’s an insane milestone, and one worth celebrating, and that’s exactly what they’re doing. On Thursday night, the band will play a free show at Palings.
The free show is part of Merivale’s initiative to encourage Sydneysiders to embrace the vibrancy of this glorious city. Over the next few months, the hospitality heroes are hosting a programme of free live music, laneway pop-ups, late-night bites and exciting initiatives throughout the CBD.
