Hot and happening indie darlings The Holidays have announced a national tour this April following their return from playing the South by South West festival in Austin Texas in March, and will be their first shows on home soil since they hit the stage across the country in the Laneway Festival which starts next week.
Last year saw the band pick up a swag of accolades for their self produced, debut album Post Paradise, and ended last year picking up The Age EG award for ‘Best Album’ and landing the year’s final Triple J Feature Album. The album also received “Album of the Week” in Drum Media, Beat Magazine, BMA Mag & The Brag.
Last week they also picked up the prestigious Australian Music Prize Red Bull Award for the Best Debut Album of 2010. Tix go on sale Monday January 31st.
