Keen for The Killers’ upcoming new album Imploding The Mirage? Well, then you’ve got to check out their newest song ‘Blowback’ from the album, which the debuted via CBS This Morning alongside a killer cover of Tom Petty’s ‘The Waiting’.
Announced back in March, U.S. alt-rock outfit The Killers long-awaited sixth album Imploding The Mirage is set to be out in late May, but with the album currently delayed, they’ve taken to sharing a couple tracks early.
We saw them put out ‘Land Of The Free’ in 2019, and this year has, so far, seen them release both ‘Caution’ and ‘Fire In Bone’, but now they’ve debuted their latest via CBS This Morning – a song titled ‘Blowback’.
Performing for CBS This Morning‘s ‘Saturday Sessions’, The Killers set to singing their latest song with vocalist Brandon Flowers at the helm on piano, accompanied by drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. on acoustic guitar, in the slow beauty of ‘Blowback’.

Later, they go on to perform their already released song ‘Caution’, along with an upbeat track, and show-stopping vocals.

To wrap things up The Killers perform a stunning rendition of Tom Petty’s ‘The Waiting’ from his 1981 album Hard Promises, that sees Flowers ditch the piano and wholeheartedly shouting the lyrics.

While there’s still no news as to when the collectives newest album is set to release due to delays, you’ll be able to catch them here in Australia for their Imploding The Mirage tour in November this year.
