Thirsty Merc must be hungry to tour, because the beloved rockers have just announced a huge national run of shows to celebrate 15 years together.
This November and December, the trio are heading off on their 20-date ‘Take Me Back Tour’, celebrating a career that kick-started with their self-titled debut in 2004 and its monster feel-good singles ‘In The Summertime’ and ‘Someday Someday’.
“It’s thanks to the fans that we’re still here, loving life and music, 15 years later and this tour is a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who’s sung along with us over the years, as well as a great opportunity to dust off some songs we’ve never included in our shows,” says frontman Rai Thistlethwayte.
The show will pick and choose from the band’s decade-and-a-half career, including their most recent album Shifting Gears, which was released independently back in 2015.
Check out the long list of tour dates (’20 Good Reasons’, we’ll call it), along with that precise track, below.
