BAD//DREEMS
Where? Vic on the Park Hotel, 2 Addison Road, Marrickville
When? 1pm, Sunday 24th Jan
Why? If we had one tip it would be this: The one pre Aus Day event worth celebrating the epic gig at the Vic this Sunday. Call in the Monday and making it an extra LONG weekend because the crew have put together an impressive local line up including Bad//Dreems Polish Club FLOWERTRUCK and ADKOB. All entry is by donation to Wirringa Baiya Aboriginal Women’s Legal Centre and matched by the Vic. So get down early to see some sick bands and raise money for a great cause.

Strewth
Where? The Elephant Hotel, 230 Wickham St, Brisbane
When? 2pm, Saturday 23rd Jan
Why? After a massive 1st year in 2015 Featuring Melbourne Rockers – Delta Riggs and local super-band Orphans Orphans, this years Elephan early Aus Day party is set to be even bigger and better. With Velociraptor, Babaganouj and WAAX on the FREE line up – do we need to say more?

Higgo’s Heavy Cherry

Why? Now in its 5th year Higgo’s Heavy Cherry is back ready to blow the roof off Cherry Bar. On Friday the 22nd January, the start of a long weekend, let ya long hair down and bang ya head to some of Melbourne’s elite heavy bands including Eye Of The Enemy, Decimatus, Overproof Groove and LUNG – call in Monday and get loose!

Why? WA garage psych legends (and Tone Deaf favourites) Spaceman (formerly SpacemanAntics) are gearing up to head over East to play a few shows, but flying across the country costs heaps ‘o money ya know? That’s why they’re playing a cheeky lil’ fundraiser gig for their Freo mates this Friday. The line-up is mint and it’ll only cost you $10 so head along and help some brothers out.
