Thy Art Is Murder have announced their new vocalist, Jerry Grimefeld, with the release of “Squeeze.”
To celebrate their new band member and music, the Australian deathcore outfit has announced a string of shows set for next month, with dates confirmed for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The shows will mark Grimefeld’s first headline run in Australia with Thy Art Is Murder and the band’s final gigs of 2026. He first played with the band at the Life’s a Beach festival in Melbourne earlier this year.
“Thy Art Is Murder has influenced me more than any other band in the world,” Grimefeld said.
“Hate sent me down the path I’m on today, so being part of this band now is surreal. I’m blessed to be here, and I can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on. We’re about to get ignorant with it.”
The Sydney group have had a turbulent few years at the mic. Tyler Miller stepped in after the band parted ways with longtime vocalist CJ McMahon in 2024, and now Grimefeld takes over for the next chapter.
