Just a mere week after Australian Jerry Seinfeld fans were left furious with Ticketek and its inability to cope with demand, Adele fans have been left to endure a similar fate.
With servers flooded by fans and scalpers alike, nationwide trying to secure tickets to Adele’s first ever-Australian tour, Ticketek’s website has buckled under the pressure.
Many hopefuls had been left not only without tickets but many were also charged for the tickets they never even received and in one case, allegedly twice.

According to News.com, Melbourne’s Etihad sold out in an incredible (but also unsurprising) 35 minutes so, it was something of a a no brainer that a second show would be added
As Pedestrian.tv reports, Brisbane fans were also fortunate enough to receive a second show but there has no word just yet on whether or not Sydney, Perth or Adelaide will be so fortunate.
Ticketek has since offered an apology via their Twitter for the delay but is it too little too late for some fans?
Adele fans, thanks for your persistence! Please keep trying, plenty of great tickets still available for Sydney. Apologies for any delays!
