Hearts broke across Melbourne yesterday as the inner northern suburb of Brunswick was graced by the presence of our almighty lord and saviour, Beyonce Knowles. In town for her Mrs CarterWorld Tour, the pop sensation made a quick stop for a photo shoot on Beith Street, before nipping down to The Retreat Hotel to shoot a music video. Queen Bey’s whirlwind visit to the bustling burb has already sparked an array of fans flocking to the area to snap pictures where the Queen once stood and this FABULOUS tumblr page dedicated to superimposing the star over Brunswick … uh … landmarks … Most notable is the overall feeling of pointlessness amongst locals who were not home at the time. Please Bey, never leave us.
Ke$ha Had A Vaginal Exorcism
With Halloween just around the corner, it appears that some have gotten a little too into the spirit of things, Ke$ha today providing Rolling Stone with the juicy details of her VAGINAL EXORCISM. Having been told by her “healer” that entities cling to her due to the energy she exudes on stage, the starlet believed her lady bits to be possessed by some sort of spirit. Unable to film the exorcism for her reality show for fear of the spirit entering a new body, we have only Ke$ha’s verbal evidence of the cleansing process. “There’s a lot of screaming and grabbing energies and she was talking in tongues. She was speaking Latin or something, I’m not really sure. It was definitely another language, and she was making all sorts of crazy noises. At one point she started choking.” Ke$ha also recently spoke to Jimmy Kimmel about exploring her past lives as a means of finding the source of her “issues.”

Lady Gaga has taken time out of her busy schedule (mostly filled with trying to realise 4-year-olds’ dream outfits) to hit back at some of her critics in a barrage of tweets. Responding personally to such well-considered criticisms as; ‘Madonna hates Gaga,’ ‘Lady Gaga is on drugs,’ and of course the old chestnut: ‘Lady Gaga is a hermaphrodite’ would seem beneath the pop megastar, so why the rant? Well, call me cynical, but the tweets did set Gags squarely in the media spotlight just before her new single ‘Do What U Want’ went online on Monday…

The video Paul McCartney’s single ‘Queenie Eye’ takes the art of name-dropping to a whole new level. Featuring Johnny Depp, Maryl Streep, Jude Law, and Kate Moss lap dancing, the former Beatle seems to be taking his friendships a little seriously.
