Travis Scott seems to be gearing up to drop some fresh tunes, promising that new music will arrive “very motherfucking soon”.

It’s been just over 13 months since Travis Scott released Astroworld, his third studio album, and easily his most successful.

Since then, we’ve seen tracks like ‘Sicko Mode’ top charts around the world and turn Travis into a household name. However, it seems as though we’re about to receive some fresh jams sooner rather than later.

As Genius reports, Travis Scott appeared at the Made In America Festival over the weekend, where he thanks his fans for their support, before promising new material was on the way.

“I don’t know how many people out here made it to the Astroworld tour, but I love y’all, thank y’all for coming,” the rapper explained. “We got some new music on the way very motherfucking soon, you dig what I’m sayin.”

However, for fans wondering just what this new music might entail, the chart-topping artist has been teasing a track for some time now called ‘Highest In The Room’, which first appeared during a commercial for Kylie Jenner’s Kybrows collection.

Taking to Instagram recently, Travis shared an image of himself with the message that read, “Sent me a wave to come kick it,” before adding, “Highest in the Room soon reach.”

At this stage, it’s looking rather promising that fans might finally get to hear this new track in the near future. While we don’t have a specific date, there’s every chance it will arrive before Travis Scott heads to Queensland later this year for an exclusive show at the SandTunes festival.

In related news, the rapper also shared a Netflix documentary last month titled Look Mom I Can Fly which documents the making of Astroworld and the world tour that followed.
