As we get closer to the premiere of HBO’s Watchmen adaptation, but they’ve given us a sneak peek as to what the series is set to sound like.
This weekend, we’re set to see the premiere of Watchmen, the 2019 HBO adaptation of DC Comics’ series of the same name from the late ’80s.
First announced back in 2017, the new series has been in the works for some time, with fans eager to see if it will either live up to or surpass the success of the 2009 film adaptation.
However, while the series is set to premiere Sunday night in the US, Australians will have to wait until Monday to catch the show and to experience the star-studded cast.
If you can’t quite wait that long though, Consequence Of Sound reports that new teaser clips have given fans a sneak peek as to what the score will sound like.

Produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails, the new series’ score follows on from other compositions the duo has worked on in recent years, including Mid90s, Bird Box, and Waves in the last year alone.
Speaking to Variety last year, Reznor explained that as a fan of Watchmen, he was excited to work on the series and to work with show creator Damon Lindelof.
“I’ve never done TV, but needless to say, it’s been a great several years for television, and long-form storytelling is exciting,” Reznor explained.
“So I told our agent, ‘Hey, let him know that we’d be definitely interested in working on that.’ The next thing I know, we’re in a meeting with Damon, and we were all-in.”
In related news, Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails were recently nominated for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame once again. Considering Reznor had previously explained he “couldn’t give less of a shit” about getting in, we’re assuming he won’t feel too hard done by if he doesn’t make it in.
