triple j have just unveiled this year's ripper One Night Stand lineup

triple j are set to bring back their annual One Night Stand this year, announcing the lineup that will soon be descending upon a yet-to-be named Australian town.

Do you live in a town that doesn’t have access to great live music? Then you might want to start crossing your fingers that triple j will be bringing their annual One Night Stand concert to your neck of the woods.

Almost every year since 2004, triple j have brought the music to the fans, with a regional concert being held in a relatively remote location around the country.

While locations like Alice Springs, Dubbo, Port Pirie, and Mildura have all hosted the event in the past, it has fast become a stunning celebration of local music, with fans coming from all over to support their favourite musicians.

Following a ripper year at St Helens, Tasmania in 2018, triple j have now announced the stunning list of acts that will be heading up this year’s 15th edition of the festivities on Saturday, September 14th.

Kicking things off are the South Australian hip-hop icons the Hilltop Hoods, whose upcoming national tour will no longer seem to be out of reach for one Aussie town, with the group performing cuts off their latest chart-topping album.

Meanwhile, Meg Mac will be throwing down tracks both old and new, while Hottest 100-toppers Ocean Alley get the crowd grooving, and the mesmerising G Flip shows everyone how it’s done.

However, the lineup isn’t done yet, with the traditional triple j Unearthed winner still to be announced.

If you’re keen to know just where you need to set your sights on for this year, Ben & Liam will be announcing the host of this year’s One Night Stand on Thursday, June 27th.
