Earlier this year, Australia’s national youth broadcaster triple j put out the call to listeners to let them know what their favourite albums of 2015 are. Well, the results have now been cast and tallied and they’re ready for your scrutiny.

You can now take a look at the Top 10 results of the annual triple j listeners’ poll below, as unveiled by Gemma Pike (filling in for Richard Kingsmill) earlier this week. As you can see, 2015 has been a pretty good year for local music.

Half of the rankings are by homegrown artists, including releases by Courtney Barnett and Tame Impala, who’ve been dominating everybody’s end-of-year lists, with Tame Impala’s Currents topping this year’s listeners’ poll.

It marks the second time that the Kevin Parker-led Perth outfit have topped the poll, with their sophomore effort, Lonerism, topping the poll back in 2012. Their debut, Innerspeaker, nabbed silver in 2010.

Meanwhile, Courtney Barnett’s J Award-winning Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit came in at number two, Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly got the bronze, and releases by The Rubens, Gang of Youths, Foals, and San Cisco also made appearances.
