As we’ve established, there’s your regular, run-of-the-mill style trolling and then there’s next level trolling. For example, the cheeky local band that played ‘Cocaine’ outside of the Gold Coast Suns’ home stadium over the weekend, that’s next level trolling.
Well, whoever that band was (we never found out), Australian electronic duo Mashd N Kutcher have claimed the title of King Trolls for themselves with this incredible trolling of a crowd during one of their recent gigs. Something like this had to be years in the making.
The key to a great troll is to play with your subject’s expectations. In this case, the subject was an entire crowd gathered in a large live music venue and they were expecting the epic bass drop from Timmy Trumpet’s EDM hit ‘Freaks’.
That’s when Mashd N Kutcher hit them with one of the most epic trolls we’ve ever seen, perhaps even the biggest of 2015. We don’t wanna spoil it for you, but we will tell you that Rick Astley is in no way involved. Check it out below.
