Californian punk outfit (and honorary Aussies) Unwritten Law have revealed they’re coming back to our shores next year, recently dropping a bunch of 2020 tour dates.
If there’s two certainties in the world of Aussie music, it’s either a host on Rage picking the clip for the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion’s ‘2 Kindsa Love’, or Unwritten Law touring the country.
Having last visited the country in early 2018, the band have played close to 100 shows on Aussie soil, having been visiting with increasing frequency ever since 1996.
Recently announced on the lineup for the 2020 Hotter Than Hell festival, the good news has kept on coming for fans, with Unwritten Law unveiling a run of tour dates that will keep them busy for the better part of a month in 2020.

“We’ve been coming to Australia for a long time and we’ve come to think of it as our home away from home. I think we just get each other,” explained frontman Scott Russo. “Every trip over is such a magical thing.
“We really pour our hearts and souls into every show and leave it all out there every night. And that’s exactly what we plan to do. We’re gonna play some songs we haven’t played in a long time, we’re gonna play the songs we know you want to hear, and you may even hear some of what’s to come.”
Kicking off at the Chelsea Heights Hotel on January 31st, the group are set to travel around the country, playing shows in Victoria, the ACT, New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia, with a total of 16 dates locked in.
