Australia’s own critically acclaimed hit-making machine, Sia has just released the music video for her new single ‘Chandelier’.

Though her trademark blonde bob makes an appearance, the irresistibly mysterious pop-star does not herself appear in the clip. It instead features a compelling dance performance from Maddy Ziegler (age 11), one the stars of the Lifetimetelevision show “Dance Moms”, as her doppelganger. The video was directed by Sia and Daniel Askill and shot in Los Angeles at the old Herald Examiner building in downtown LA.

‘Chandelier’ is the first song released from Sia’s forthcoming sixth studio album, 1000 Forms Of Fear, due this winter via Inertia.  ‘Chandelier’ was written by Sia and Jesse Shatkin (Kylie MinogueKelly Clarkson) and produced by her longtime collaborator Greg Kurstin (P!nkLily Allen), along with Shatkin.
