Violent Soho are taking Australia by force. With five ARIA nominations and their national WACO tour selling out, these Brisbane rockers can now add another accolade to their name.
The alt-rockers are set to have a plaque established in their honour on the Brunswick St Mall Walk of Fame as apart of the Queensland Music Awards Showcase.
After ‘Like Soda’ took out Song of the Year at the QMAs, Violent Soho will join other Brisbands on the Valley Walk Of Fame such as Ball Park Music and Hungry Kids Of Hungary.
In 2013, ‘Covered in Chrome’ took out the 13th spot in the triple j Hottest 100 – can we expect a top 10 from the Soho’s this year? Queenslanders are obviously hoping for it after awarding the group with the highest prize that the state has to offer.
