ASP, the newest additions to the WACK universe, have announced their eponymous debut album ANAL SEX PENiS.
So, yeah, you read that right.
Japanese idol group ASP (ANAL SEX PENiS), the newest kids on the block in the massive universe of WACK (Watanabe Artistic Creative Corporation) have announced their debut album, ANAL SEX PENiS.
Slated for a May release, the 13-track album is set to be the introduction to WACK’s newest ‘Anti-style idol’ group. While details are awaited, the group has provided a preview by releasing two tracks in advance: the official version of ‘Dear Rockstar’ (as is customary of WACK releases, the introductory version released in March featured vocals by WACK founder Watanabe Junnosuke) and ‘BE MY FRiEND’.
Currently, the band’s line-up consists of four members, namely Naukana Yumeka, Namaenai, Mog Ryan, and Nayu. Fans of WACK will recognize Naukana and Nayu, with the former first being a member of CARRY LOOSE and later Idol Renaissance. Nayu, on the other hand, was last seen in WACK’s trainee program, WAgg.
In a surprise announcement, WACK also said that former AKB48 member Kashiwagi Yuki will also be joining the line-up for some time, although it is unclear when that will be.
ASP will be the latest in WACK’s lineup of alternative idols, or anti-style idols, an alternative to mainstream idol culture that the company has somewhat set the benchmark for since the late 2010s.

As opposed to standard indulgent idol culture, WACK’s alt-idols keep rebellion and subversion at their core, whether it’s through notorious concepts or melding traditional pop confectionery with genres like death metal and punk rock. The company pioneered this with BiS. The oft-controversial group remains one of the keystones of anti-style idol culture, famous (or infamous) for their morally “wrong” actions, such as running naked through Aokigahara (Japan’s suicide forest) or stimulating oral sex in their track ‘Paprika’.
