It is evident there has been a lot of love put in to this album. The album explores life’s highs and lows through the soulful voice of Liz Stringer. It’s warm and comforting, with both slow melodic songs exploring life’s pitfalls, and also including uplifting ballads to have a sing along with. The track “Anybody’s Language” has some powerful lyrics accompanied by magical backing instruments, this is definitely one of the best songs on the album. Another quality track is “It’s a Long Way Down”, it has lyrics that explore the life of someone wasting their life on alcohol and partying, reminiscent of many listeners youth, and includes lyrics like “hung-over, shaking and shitty until I got that bottle between my lips.” And “this ain’t some kind of blowout; we’ll do the same thing every night this week.”The title is the perfect fit to the feeling you get when you listen to this album, have a listen and you’ll see what I mean.
