Despite losing David Bowie and Alan Rickman in the course of a single week, somehow people still haven’t learnt to cherish each other and not act like total dickheads towards one another.
As some readers may be aware, Aussie singer and YouTube star Troye Sivan was on stage at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre last night when he copped a bottle to the face from some idiotic fan.
The 20-year-old handled things like a pro and later tweeted that he “didn’t wanna make a scene” and “didn’t really feel” the bottle to the face due to the adrenaline rush of performing.
He wasn’t the only Aussie artist contending with a fan who’s severely lacking in manners or brain cells this week, a member of Sticky Fingers also copped a bottling at one of their recent gigs.
“Who threw a bottle at Dizza? Fuck you, cunt!” an irate woman can be heard yelling in the clip below. You may think this is a slight overreaction, but honestly we feel where she’s coming from.
Many thought Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme overreacted when he unleashed an expletive-ridden tirade on a young punter at Norwegian Food Festival in 2008, but again, we feel you, Josh.
who threw a bottle at dizza?fuck you cunt.

It’s pretty simple: don’t throw bottles at musicians on stage. Don’t throw bottles at musicians when they’re off stage. Don’t throw bottles at anybody for any reason, unless maybe they asked you to.
In fact, don’t even do it if they asked you to, things could go horribly wrong. Throwing bottles at people is not only rude and disrespectful, it’s potentially harmful and you could injure someone.
The next time you feel like throwing a bottle at a performer is a good idea, don’t. Just think about how you would feel if you were sitting at your desk at work and someone threw a bottle at you for no reason.
