US Singer/Songwriter WILLY MASON will take time out from his current run of dates with MUMFORD & SONS to perform two intimate solo shows on Monday 22 October (Sydney) and Wednesday 24 October (Melbourne).

Joining Willy in Sydney will be former frontman of The Middle East ROHIN JONES (solo), who will be performing songs from his new project ‘R.L. Jones’. In Melbourne Willy will be joined by HAYDEN CALNIN (solo), who released his debut EP ‘City’ earlier this year.

Willy Mason’s time in Australia coincides with the lead up to the release of his third album Carry On on November 30 through Fiction Records/Universal. Coming in the wake of his critically acclaimed debut Where The Humans Eat (which included the now classic track ‘Oxygen’), and the progressive sound of his 2007 sophomore release If The Ocean Gets Rough, Willy’s new album has been five years in the making.

First single ‘I Got Gold’ premiered last week on BBC Radio 1, where Zane Lowe tipped it as the ‘Hottest Record in the World’. It has since been picked up by Radio 2, XFM and BBC6. You can check it out here.

Universal is excited to offer fans of Willy Mason an exclusive opportunity to purchase admission to the shows and a digital download of the new album Carry On. More information is available on the venue websites.
