Shangri La is the follow-up album to last year’s self-titled debut ‘Jake Bugg’ and will come just over a year since that record went straight to Number 1 in the UK sending him into the record books as the youngest solo male to debut at the top of the UK charts with their first release. Bugg’s debut album is fast approaching sales of one million worldwide, and has seen him saw him tour non-stop for the last 12 months including his own headline tours, support tour for Noel Gallagher and festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella and our very own Splendour In The Grass.

Now hooked up with legendary producer Rick Rubin, he is set to scale new heights. ‘Shangri La’ is named after Rick Rubin’s Malibu studio, where the 19 year old singer-songwriter recorded the album and first single ‘What Doesn’t Kill You’.

In July this year, Jake made his first visit to Australia to perform at Splendour in the Grass, and played to sold-out crowds at sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne, while seeing his album reach Top 5 on iTunes.

Thanks to Universal Music Australia we’re giving away copies of the album. Fill in the below to win!
