Ubisoft® Rocksmith’s 2014 Edition™ is close to it’s release date, and Australian and New Zealand have been offered an exclusive for pre-order and Day 1 purchase and Limited Edition that includes Tame Impala’s 2012 smash hit “Elephant” and The Smashing Pumpkins’ classic “Cherub Rock” as additional tracks to download for free.

Rocksmith 2014 Edition will be available from October 24th and allows players to plug any real guitar or bass directly into their Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the Sony PlayStation® 3 computer entertainment system, PC & Mac®.

Tame Impala will be the first Australian band to join a long list of international artists whose songs have already featured on Rocksmith including The Rolling Stones, Nirvana and The Black Keys.

Rocksmith 2014 Edition will feature more than 50 new tracks on-disc, ranging from hits by the latest bands to legendary rock classics including: Aerosmith – Walk This Way,   Arctic Monkeys – R U Mine?, Bob Dylan – Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door,  Iron Maiden – The Trooper,  Jack White – Sixteen Saltines, Kiss – Rock And Roll All Nite,  Mastodon – Blood and Thunder, Oasis – Don’t Look Back In Anger,  Pantera – Cemetary Gate,  Paramore – Now,  R.E.M. – Losing My Religion, Radiohead – Paranoid Android, Rise Against – Savior,  Screaming Females – Rotten Apple, Slayer – War Ensemble, The Kinks – You Really Got Me, The Rolling Stones – Paint It, Black, The Shins – For A Fool, Weezer – Say It Ain’t So and many more!

Additionally, players of the original Rocksmith game will be able to further enjoy their rock experience by importing its songs and DLC onto Rocksmith 2014 Edition.
