Marked as one of the most distinctive and forward-thinking voices to emerge in British music, Ghostpoet is immediately captivating and uniquely honest.

With a style sitting somewhere between MC and performance poet, this Mercury Award nominated rapper signed in 2010 to BBC Radio 1 DJ Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood imprint record label and  released his first EP “The Sound Of Strangers”, released his first highly anticipated album “Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam”, and now fast forward to 2013; Ghostpoet is touring his sophomore album “Some Say I So I Say Light”.

With a flow likened to Roots Manuva and production respectfully nodding to the glitchy melancholy of Radiohead and Burial, the Spiegeltent will be transformed by his elliptical imagery and soundscape when Ghostpoet hits the stage as part of Brisbane Festival 2013.
