We’re trying to keep everyone warm this winter with a series of parties and our next one features the musical brainchild of Joshua Delaney (Chet Faker, SMILE, Redberry Plum), RAT & CO with their ambient, moody and delicate soundtracks. Also joined by Ben Wright Smith, with his folkish tilt to psych and blues, for is Single Launch of ‘If living the good life is easy (why is this so hard?).
Rat & Co have garnered much support from their debut album “One (壱) Uno (壹) Ein” with rave reviews including 4 and a half stars in the Sydney Morning Herald, airplay on Triple J, 3RRR, PBS, Fbi and a successful tour around Australia, including sell-out shows in their hometown, a support with Gold Panda (UK). Two of the band members, Joshua Delaney and Kaia McCarty-Smith have just finished supporting Chet Faker on his first headline European tour just as he winds up Flume’s Infinity Prism tour.
Joining the bill and playing tracks from his debut album ‘Autumn Safari’, is local lad Ben Wright Smith playing with his full band. He’ll also be playing tracks off his sophomore record; an exploration of 60’s Physchadellia, Motown and Rock & Roll, which features his current single ‘If Living The Goo Life Is Easy (why is this so hard?)’.
We’re giving away 2 x double passes to come and party with us this weekend:
