Olafur is an Icelandic composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer who has enjoyed recent Hollywood success in producing the scores for films including The Hunger Games and Looper.
Following an acclaimed performance at this years SXSW, ‘For Now I Am Winter’ demonstrates Arnalds talents both as a composer and producer, and includes the song Old Skin, written for the Japenese Tsunami benefit project.
The album also introduces for the first time the vocals of Icelandic singer Arnór Dan.
