Stella Angelico, the adored rock n’ soul heroine of the Melbourne underground, is excited to unleash her new single, ‘Prey’. To celebrate the release, Stella is set to headline what is sure to be an amazing show at Ding Dong Lounge on Friday 17 October. She’ll be joined by some special to be announced shortly.

We wrote about ‘Prey’ last month which was inspired by the story of a Polish woman who was buried alive by her husband, but escaped using the engagement ring that he gave her “When I’m underground give me diamonds / When I’m cold wrap me in stars / When it’s all burning down dress me in my wedding gown / Won’t be your Prey”

Since the release of her first single ‘Mister’ in 2012, Angelico’s loyal fanbase has swelled. From playing the swampy depths of iconic city haunts, such as Cherry Bar and the Old Bar, to the big stages of Boogie Festival, and MONA FOMA Stella is has been doing the hard yards and it’s paying off.
