Melbourne is about to get an exciting new date on its cultural calendar, as La Dolce Italia festival arrives in The Paddock at Federation Square from October 19-23 with a range of food, wine, fashion and music events – and we’ve got some special VIP packages to give away.
Featuring a range of events catering to every taste, the festival has put together four different VIP packages for the winner to choose from, with everything from masterclasses with some of the country’s best chefs to the ultimate beer and pizza night on offer.

Cooking masterclasses and jazz beneath the stars

Indulge your Masterchef fantasies as some of the country’s best chefs give interactive cooking demonstrations, including Melbourne’s own world champion pizza maker Johnny Di Francesco, international seafood chef Pete Hilcke, and acclaimed cake master Shan Weerasiri.
Once the cooking is done, you’ll be able to relax with an evening of brilliant jazz and blues from Australian jazz icons Vince Jones and Nina Ferro.
As the winner, you’ll receive two VIP tickets to the masterclasses, with drinks on arrival and front row seats, plus two tickets to the Jazz Under the Stars performances in the evening.
A weekend of spirits and sparkling

The weekend kicks off with the first of two perfect events for the beverage lovers out there, as you drink your way through a range of the best gin and vodka Australia has to offer, soundtracked by a host of top-notch DJs. Then, on Sunday afternoon, it’s a tour through amazing Champagne, prosecco and sparkling wine from Australia and around the world.

The ultimate beer and pizza night

We can think of few better ways to spend the night than with seven slices of gourmet pizza by some of the country’s best pizza chefs like 400 Gradi’s world champion owner Johnny Di Francesco, each paired with a different beer. Bella Ciao and Italy’s Francesco Misitano will be soundtracking the evening too, for the authentic Napoli atmosphere.

An adventure through spring fashion

If you’re more excited about the arrival of spring fashion, then Couture in the Courtyard is for you, as you weave your way through an intricate maze of floral-draped greenery and discover brand new collections from a range of Australia’s top designers, including Jason Grech, Kara Breadmore, Rachel Gilbert, Santina Ponte and more.
Our winner will be able to bring three friends along to wander through the maze with, scoring four VIP tickets, champagne on arrival, and a meet and greet with some of the designers.
