Sydney genre-melding six-piece Winston Surfshirt have just announced the arrival of their second album, Apple Crumble. This marks the band’s second dessert-related release and first full-length offering since 2017’s Sponge Cake.
The band will be celebrating the release of Apple Crumble by heading around the country for a bit of a regional bash.
They’ve also dropped a taste of what to expect from the new record with delicious lead single ‘Smile.’ In a press release, Winston detailed the inspiration behind the song, and it’s wholesome as all heck:
“I’ve been with the same woman for 14 years and she has the most contagious smile. I think I was always meant to write this song…”
