Enigmatic Melbourne producer/musician Yeo has presented in a myriad of musical forms over the course of three backyard-crafted, self-released albums varying stylistically from Bubblegum Pop through to Indie Rock, Soul, Electronica and R&B Slow Jams.
His most recent long-player, the cheekily titled ‘Sell Out’ (2013), drew praise from a wide range of music media including taste-making Australian radio station triple j.
‘GIRL,’ is the first track off Yeo’s forthcoming EP (due for 2014 release) and this incarnation has seen the artist embrace glitchy synth-laden Electronica but not without pop sensibility, guided as always by his impeccable ear for an unforgettable vocal hook.
