Zoee has released her country anthem ‘Nashville’, with plans to send 100% of the proceeds over to tornado disaster relief.
Zoee, originally from the depths of Australia, moved to the U.K. in 2016 to pursue her career in music with her incredibly supportive family. Her band, better known as “The Band”, consist of two of her younger brothers on drums and bass and her father on lead guitar, while her mother is her personal manager, who travels the world with her and is there for every show and meeting that takes place.
In 2018 Zoee was asked to write and perform her first film soundtrack which went to No.1 on the Scottish New Music Global Charts and 2019 saw her record with country music legend, BBC Radio 2’s presenter & OBE Whispering Bob Harris for his Under the Apple Tree Session with her original song ‘Stay’.
Later, in June, Zoee was asked to perform at CMA Festival in Nashville, where she also debuted her song “Nashville” in the legendary Bluebird Cafe, a cafe famous for having helped give the likes of Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift their start in Country Music.
“I’ve been fortunate to have followed my passion for music and amongst many things, (from touring to TV to recording) and it led me to Nashville to play one of the world’s biggest country festival’s (CMA Fest) last year alongside some of the greats. This song is about my love for the city and the genre, the passion of the people in the south and a complete celebration of Country Music starting right at its roots,” she says.
2020 see’s Zoee releasing new music for the first time in almost 18 months to her long-awaited and hungry audience and her 2020 tour will kick-off March 15th for Country2Country (C2C) Festival in Scotland at the SEE Hydro in Glasgow, sharing the bill alongside some of the bigger names in country, including Old Dominion, Eric Church, Darius Rucker, Charles Esten, Tanya Tucker, Jordan Davis & Gabby Barrett.
