100 gecs recently announced their much-anticipated world tour, including a string of appearances in Australia. However, due to venue size, the tickets were exhausted in a minute, leaving many asking for a venue change.

100 gecs have definitely been making a name for themselves with their unique brand of pop meets metal meets electronic, and it looks like Australian fans have been waiting desperately for them to show up.

There are now calls for the gecs duo to increase their venue size due to capacity filling up so fast. One can only dream of seeing the duo throw elbows to a crowd at Enmore Theatre. One can only dream. As of yet there are no plans for such a move.

100 gecs are going to be touring Australia this winter, announcing the shows along with a slew of tour dates that will have the experimental pop duo on the road throughout North America, the UK and Europe.

Their worldwide tour kicks off after their much-hyped appearance at Coachella this April, with the Australian shows coming at the end of their three-month run. The tour announcement came just ahead of 100 gecs’ remix album announcement, 1000 gecs & The Tree of Clues

Featuring both official remixes and some remixes that have been crowd-sourced, the remix album is going give fans more than enough ‘new’ material to keep ’em going while they wait for the duo to hit a venue near them.
