A You Me At Six & Tonight Alive Australian Tour 2014 has been announced, with two bands joining forces for a Down Under trek presented by Soundwave Touring.

Hailed as leaders of Britain’s new rock wave – taking home the Best British Band gong at the Kerrang Awards – You Me At Six are well known for riveting live shows, including an infamous sold out show at London’s Wembley Arena.

Locked in for appearances at Reading and Leeds Festival this year, the Surrey five-piece have topped off a successful 12 months with their first ever UK #1 album debut, in their latest release, Cavalier Youth; now You Me At Six are bringing their ‘A’ game to Australia.

“Australia! We cannot wait to come back this September,” say the band. “Our time down under with Paramore earlier on this year was unforgettable. Hope to see as many of you at the shows as possible, and am looking forward to hitting the road with our friends in Tonight Alive.”

Having played main stage set at Warped Tour and Reading and Leeds Festivals, to packing out club shows, Australia’s Tonight Alive rise to fame has been accelerated in the last year, helping hone their energetic live show into a crowd-pleasing, whip-tight event – no matter where they play.

Having scored an international coup, landing a lead single on the The Amazing Spider-Man 2 soundtrack, and releasing their new album The Other Side, Tonight Alive aren’t letting off the accelerator anytime soon.

“Coming home to tour in Aus is always long overdue,” says electric frontwoman Jenna McDougall; “We’ve looked forward to announcing these dates with long-time friends You Me At Six for months!”

The You Me At Six & Tonight Alive Australian Tour 2014 will see the pair trailing along the East Coast for a series of all ages shows (and a respective 18+/underage show in Melbourne) to their dedicated fans.

Don’t miss this twosome, matching one of Britain’s brightest rock stars with one of Australia’s rising stars.
