Ecca Vandal has swiftly become one of the most talked-about musicians on the Australian local scene. An enigma to many, her first single, ‘White Flag’, presented a poised and defiant artist with an eclectic, seemingly contradictory list of influences and a steadfast creative vision.

Released randomly in mid-2014 and almost immediately snatched up for airplay by the taste-making likes of Triple J and Channel [V], the profile of ‘White Flag’ was very slowly raised but Australia quickly stood to attention, even receiving accolades from the likes of Rolling Stone.

Now, after much eager anticipation, Ecca Vandal has unveiled another slice of musical tapestry that she’s spent the last few months weaving between studios in her hometown of Melbourne. The track is aptly titled ‘Battle Royal’ and this brattish slice of unrelenting punk rock is sure to turn plenty more heads.
