The organisers of Paradise Music Festival 2015 have just unveiled the first round of artists slated to play their eagerly anticipated third edition and it’s quite simply one of the best local music festival lineups of the year.

Organisers say Paradise 2015 has been curated according to what best reflects the current Australian independent music scene. To that end, they’ve tapped the likes of My Disco, Lurch & Chief, Tired Lion, and Black Cab to kick things off.

There’ll also be appearances from fellow favourites Black Vanilla, Cassius Select, The Harpoons, Smile, Dorsal Fins, Darts, Friendships, Totally Mild, Catlips, Oslow, and many more. Check below for the full first round Paradise 2015 lineup.

In 2015, organisers will be reaffirming their commitment to bringing punters the best selection of innovative, emerging Australian acts, inviting them to enjoy quality music across two areas – an outdoor amphitheater stage and Clubland, an indoor nightclub.

Paradise 2015 will see the festival once again returning to the enigmatic locale of the spectral Victorian alpine forest at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort. Located close to Marysville, the festival site has overlooking views of the Victorian Alps and Great Dividing Range.

A second lineup announcement for Paradise 2015 will be released later this year and second round tickets are now available at $175 plus booking fee.

Paradise 2015 will be capped at 2,000 patrons to preserve its boutique ethos, so act fast. Check below for all dates and ticketing details.
