After weeks of eager anticipation, Australia’s leading boutique electronic music festival, Let Them Eat Cake, have announced the lineup for their 2016 instalment and there’s no doubt it’s the only place to be this New Year’s Day.

For the fourth consecutive year, Let Them Eat Cake will be taking over the scenic surrounds of the Werribee Mansion, just 30 minutes outside of Melbourne, with a lineup featuring some of the biggest names in contemporary electronic music.

The stellar lineup features a string of big international names and buzz-worthy locals, including Jon Hopkins, Four Tet, Slum Village, Com Truise, Ben UFO, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Seven Davis Jr, and Daniel Avery, with more to be announced.

In 2016, organisers are also promising an expansion of LTEC’s theme of “architectural abstract-ism, a commentary on design aesthetics paired with an intelligent, minimalist celebration of electronica, with a soupcon of doof kitsch thrown in for good measure”.

Tickets are set to hit sale 9am Tuesday, 15th September via the official Let Them Eat Cake website, with first release tickets running you $150 + booking fee. Readers can check below for all dates and ticketing details.
